Fully booked for 2008!

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm fully booked for the rest of 2008 and thinking about 2009! I have no idea what happened this year but it's just whizzed passed!

I've had a lovely year filling in on air for BBC Radio Derby, BBC Radio Shropshire & the BBC Late Show in the West Midlands at the weekends. It's been a thrill talking to the punters and doing my usual nonsense on the air.

I completed my three months at BBC Derby at the end of September. I thoroughly enjoyed presenting the Saturday Show every week and filling in on the Afternoon show. Their listeners are incredible and I hope I can get back on air in Derbyshire soon.

I've also been touring my Live show none stop throughout 2008. It's always tricky fitting stuff in with my Radio stuff but it seems to have worked! There have been the odd '3 show days' which scare the crap out of me....I got through them. It's good practice for my Christmas Season! I've really enjoyed meeting the punters and gigging and gagging this year. I finally feel after 15 years on the road I have a show worth seeing!

Too much Showbiz

I'm now in Showbiz mode through until December recording interviews with the top stars for my Network programmes to be broadcast at Christmas across the UK on the BBC Locals and Independent Local Radio.

This year I am producing over 45 Hours of programmes including; 'Christmas with the Stars', 'A Comedy Christmas', 'Montreal 400' and 'Young Classics 2008'. I'll also be producing 15 high profile hour specials with some top Stars!

I love meeting most of my guests and listening to their story. I have got the best job in the world!

My life right now is backwards and forwards from London talking to everyone from Russell T Davies, Katherine Jenkins, Jamie Oliver, Lynda La Plante, Richard Madeley, Jonathan Ansell, Hayley Westenra, Blake, Christopher Biggins, Jane McDonald to Kerry Katona! These programmes will be broadcast in December on many Radio Stations including BBC Radio Stoke, BBC Radio Shropshire, BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester, BBC Radio Kent and CityTalk across Manchester and Liverpool... check your local listings for more details.

Out of the UK

I've put most of my Live commitments on hold in November as I am out of the UK from the end of October and throughout November.

I'm in Valencia in October and then off to Montreal to record 'Montreal 400' in Quebec in early November. I can't wait to put this exciting new radio show together celebrating their big birthday! I'll be visiting all of their biggest attractions for the programme. I love visiting new places and I can't wait to see these two amazing Cities!

I will also be back in New York in late November to record 'The Magic of the Musicals on Broadway' for a couple of weeks. This is my favourite production of the year. I'll once again be working with all of the major productions in the West End and on the Great White Way for this show. I love New York and I can't wait to see my pals again in Lovey Lake on Broadway!

Christmas Tour 2008 - Condiments of the Season

I can't believe I'm already rehearsing Carols! Yep it's time to prepare for my two or three shows a day, everyday from December 3rd - Dec 24th! I love Christmas and this chaotic none stop festive season is always the most fun as everyone is in the best mood and high spirits!

I'll then take off most of 2009 to recover!

Went back on tour for Easter

Who knows....I'm too busy trying to get to the end of 2008 to worry about 2009!
